KENT A. MISENER,
CFA, CEO of Crossroads and Chief Portfolio Manager,
graduated from Utah State University in 1976 with Bachelor of Science degrees in economics and finance. Kent also obtained his MBA from Utah State University in 1977. Since then, he has served as a bond portfolio manager, treasurer, and, currently, Chief Investment Officer managing over $6 billion in assets for a large private insurance company. Kent has served as a member of several corporate boards and committees including: the Corporate Asset and Benefits Finance Investment Committees for Intermountain Healthcare; the Investment Committee for Beneficial Financial Group; the Investment Committee for Utah State Insurance and Reclamation office; and Chairman of the Board of Deseret First Credit Union. He has appeared as an expert witness concerning market trends and investment returns in state and federal trials. He has also been a guest speaker at national conferences concerning global and national equity markets , and has lectured on the benifits of active investing.
BRIAN ISRAELSEN,
CFA, CPA, is a Senior Equity Analyst for Crossroads.
Brian acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Utah State University 1983, and a Masters of Accounting(Taxation) from the same institution in 1984. From 1999 to present, Brian has served as a Portfolio Manager for a larger private insurance company, assisting in the management of over $6 billion in investment assets. Prior to 1999, Brian served as a Tax Manager for Price Waterhouse, helping to resolve various client tax issues,Brian worked as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand - another international accounting firm." and for American Stores Company and Kennecott Services Corporation, managing tax research, dealing with IRS audits, and managing the preparation of consolidated tax return filings. Prior to this, Brian worked as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand, another International Accounting Firm.
GREGORY R. MISENER, ESQ.
serves as the CCO for Crossroads.
In 2002, Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications/Public Relations from the University of Utah. Greg went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate degree from the Jacob D.Fuchsberg, Touro College of Law in New York. While in law school Greg served as an intern for Judge Renee Roth of the Manhattan Surrogate Court. He also worked as a staff member for Touro's Journal of Race Gender and Ethnicity, as well as the Editor-in-Chief of
The Restatement - Touro's student newspaper.
